What Makes Sugar Land Chiropractic Care Different

What Makes Sugar Land Chiropractic Care Different

The first thing we evaluate during our initial chiropractic exams is a patient’s symptoms. Believe it or not, the body is very good (by design) at communicating clear signals in the form of symptoms you are experiencing of what is really going on with the root issue in your body. As patients describe their symptoms to us, we can quickly assess the root cause of the pain and discomfort they are experiencing. Headaches, back pain, bloating, neck pain, sciatica, stiff neck, insomnia, heartburn, and more are all symptomatic of bigger issues. The common path most people take is to treat the symptoms with over-the-counter drugs until the symptoms can no longer be pacified and a doctor visit is in order. Then body learns to cope and compensate for the problem. Both compensation and a traditional medicine pose issues. Compensation is when other parts of your body make up for the deficiency in the affected area, placing extra wear and tear on the compensating members and poses a greater threat of declination to your health at some point down the line.

Traditional medicine also, most often, fails to address the cause of the problem but rather treats the symptoms. Medication isn’t the best answer in many cases. But if medication is all you are familiar with, as a medical professional, then that is what you will tend to prescribe. What many members of the health community may not realize is that symptoms aren’t a bad thing to make go away. They are a wonderful way your body tells you that it needs help. When you silence the symptoms, you don’t know what damage you are causing your body.

If medication doesn’t work and surface level physical therapy doesn’t cure the problem, the next logical step for lots of people is surgery.

We aren’t against surgery when all other options within our chiropractic wellness capacity have been exhausted, but surgery should only be performed as a last resort. Keep in mind that surgery is a permanent procedure. You can’t undo it. We spend time with patients educating them during their treatments, so they understand a clear path to their wellness goals. If surgery is a patient’s only option, and chiropractic care isn’t going to help, we will be the first to tell them.

We don’t want to be a Sugar Land chiropractor that people just come to for basic treatments with no noticeable, long-term progress. We want our chiropractic patients to be well and whole. To do this we take a holistic approach to health and wellness. Some other Sugar Land chiropractor may offer a cheap coupon for a chiropractic examination, but only give a cursory exam, rather than a thorough assessment and report of findings that show what a patient really needs to achieve their wellness goals. The right Sugar Land chiropractor is going to address the symptoms and the root cause of your health concerns including, when necessary - suggested nutritive adjustments, providing X-rays (if necessary), performing chiropractic adjustments, administering acupuncture and developing a full treatment plan plus self-exercises and posture correction to help the body do what it was created to do - heal itself.

If your body deviates from its natural internal balanced environment, also known as homeostasis, you will soon see symptoms developing in your body, mind, and soul. Don’t wait till you have no option before consulting with a Sugar Land chiropractor. The answer to your wellness could involve a simple change to your diet and nutritive consumption patterns. If you want to be well, start with giving the body what it needs - natural treatments. Wouldn’t you rather fix your health issue naturally or go the destructive route through medicine and surgery? Don’t let any type of emotional, structural or chemical (environmental) stress get your life out of balance. Chiropractic care in Sugar Land is a great option to consider.

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I love Yvette. She has helped me so much with my alignment and my headaches. She listens, is knowledgeable about exercises that will help, and she doesn't push anything on you. Don't listen to the haters. Go for yourself."

  • "After getting hit from behind, I went here for some body maintenance. After a month of scheduled maintenance I was 100% better, in fact I was better then I was before. I am super happy with the out come and I am even happier I did not have to pay a dime."
